The practice is proud to announce that it has acquired the first Excimer Light in the country made by Geman Medical Engineering. While the concept of Excimer light and laser is not new, the first excimer laser was also introduced in the country by this practice in 2007. The ExSys is the most advanced Excimer Light currently available. Having used it for just over a week, treatment responses are being seen after a single treatment. Excimer light/laser is used for localised areas of psoriasis, vitiligo, eczema, lichen planus and alopecia areata. This is indeed good news for patients who are bothered by small but stubborn areas affected by these conditions.
