There is much controversy and confusion about the use of masks with conflicting opinions from the different quarters.

One of the reasons for not recommending wide spread use of masks is to make sure that there are enough masks for medical personnel who are in the frontline when it comes to looking after Corona virus patients. 

It is believed that a mask could protect others from asymptomatic carriers.


Evidence is mounting that even a home made mask can be protective.
